i wouldnt use WSM seals on a crank either.

I've built a few engines for friends that have requested WSM due to their budget. I agree that there are def better parts out there, but I have to say their machines are still running fine to this day.

^^^^Yea, mine looks great! The rods look to be thicker then oem. The welds look good, and I have always heard you cant beat an oem. I see it lasting a very long time. nutta niggas 2 cent

In my shop I send my cranks to TDR ($375-400 + shipping) for rebuilds, or buy new hot rod crank ($500+shipping) New OEM's from Yamaha are real pricey now...about $675. Use only Pro-X or Wiseco pistons. A high quailty bore job in my shop is $60 per cylinder, as I ONLY use Sunnen honing equipment and is by far the BEST in honing tools! Oem Yamaha crank seals are the best... they will run you about $54 a set. Any aftermarket seals won't last more than 2 seasons IF your name is lucky!
