62T FFP exhaust manifold on a 61X

I just built a new motor for my blaster. I used 62T cases and a 61X ported cylinder. Right now my boat is built with a 62T/62T motor and a FFP maifold and mod pipe. I have heard that there may be problems using the exhaust manifold on the 61X cylinders. Is this true? what do i need to look for ? or do I need to buy a new manifold?

The 62T FPP manifold has bigger bolt holes (10mm) than the 61X FPP manifold (8mm).

Aside from some minor port matching to line the manifold up with the cylinder (something you should do in every assembly) there will be no problem using the 62T FPP manifold on the 61X cylinder.

Since the 62T manifold has bigger holes than the 8mm bolts that your 61X cylinder will use, there will be some play when mounting. I'd recommend installing the manifold while the head is off and lining up the top of the manifold opening with the top of the cylinder opening.

I am in the same exact boat, T manifold and I am putting it on an X cylinder. Anybody made some spacers to fill in the 10MM holes down to 8MM holes?
