Blaster 62T - Dual 38MM SBN Fuel Pickup Problem?

I rebuilt/jetted my carbs last night and went to get everything back on there today and had some problems getting gas out of my second line.

I have a 760 from a WB2 in there with dual 38MM Mikuni SBN carbs. My reserve pickup is reaching all the way down into the tank with around an inch of clearance from the bottom. The other line is chopped just as soon as it enters the fuel pickup cap. It doesn't go into the tank any further than the inside of the cap.

There are two lines coming from the tank total... One goes into the rear carb, then there is one line connecting the two carbs together, then the other line is going into the front carb from the tank.

Am I a retard? Is this a return line or did my other pickup break?

I didn't build this one up.. so I don't know everything about it. I bought it as it was. It was running fine until a few weeks ago when it was only starting and running for a quick second and then immediately flooding when I would give it any gas and shutting off.

I figured the plugs were just fouled and the carbs were giving it too rich of a mixture. So I cleaned and rejetted and changed plugs. But maybe it is my primer. There is a primer in the line going to the rear carb and I think it is broken.. it won't suck anything up. Just pulls back in like it is clogged.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance

Post some pics so we can see what you are seeing.

The only thing that could have happened is the primer could have become clogged or broken.. I didn't swap the order of the lines and it was working great a few weeks ago.

Pics to follow.

Thanks for the replies

Pictures:

The fuel lines were attached as follows: From "On" pickup line (the one that reaches down almost to the bottom of the tank) to the in line fuel filter, to the T for the primer, to the in port of the rear carb.

Then from the rear carb out to the front carb, and then out from the front carb and back to the gas tank into the "Res" pickup line. The aluminum pickup for the "Res" line only reached in to the very top of the gas tank. It went past the rubber pickup line cap by only a mm or 2.

I think my pulse line is causing this problem. I'm going to change my lines this weekend and see what happens. Probably a crapped out piece of hose. So much for my stupidity.

Anyways.. I need a new piece of aluminum pipe to stick in the res side of my fuel pickup boot. Anybody know where I can get one?
