62t cylinder casting differences

Do both 62t cylinders have an improved casting that doesn't require a girdle setup? Or is it only the ones with the braces that don't?

The extra ribs were on the 760 62T cylinder. Still managed to crack my mine not using a girdle head...

Run the Girdles. The Jugs need all the support they can get..............
