Blaster 62T CDI Help

Who has the best and most reliable CDI out there for my WB1's? Both are 62T's and twin carb. The WSM CDI gave up the ghost at the worst time. ( Riding alone at the lake, LOOONG swim back). Tested both the CDI and pulser when I got home and both failed. Replaced the whole statorbut, I'm worried about timing issues because it doesn't quite line up with my original marks. Looked at the MSD 4253, still feel I need better input from you guys here. Thanks for the help.
 
I have two 96 b1's and one has MSD the other has a riva. The one with the riva is 100% stock other than the CDI and man did it make a world of difference. With out the CDI I wouldnt even want to ride it when my ski was broke. Once I put the riva on it its obviously not fast but its at least fun to ride. My ski that is built has an MSD and it seems great also. I am not sure if you can buy the Riva anymore. From what little I know the MSD seems to be slightly more desirable but over all not much different. I am not an expert though, some one else may know more.

Thanks for the input. The one that is broke right now has a Riva red pipe and the previous owner had the head milled. I am leaning towards the MSD but, if I can find a Riva CDI, I would give it a try based on your success with it.
