Super Jet 62t case conversion?

Just wondering what all is involved with this? I currently have a 61x/61x. Was interested in going to 62t cases. Will everything swap over from my 61x or would I have to buy everything else 62t? Also, would anything else be needed to make the switch? I.e manifolds reeds etc?

Cases, intake manifold, reeds, carbs, flame arrestors. If it's a stock-ish cylinder setup, I wouldn't bother.
 
Yeah, seems ill stick with my 61x. Down the road would it be more beneficial to go to a 62t case setup or have my 61x ported etc? Just not sure i want to put money into a motor that will never compare to a 62t.

Hey man do you ever come over to Alatoona to ride or just Lanier? What other mods do you have done on the ski? Until you are going to a big bore motor I would say just keep the 61x. Maybe get it ported and try and find the wetjet carb intake setup have rode a few skis with that and it makes decent power.
 
Used to ride allatoona when I lived in Kennesaw for school, now mainly Lanier what about yourself? Yeah I'm no pro but the difference between my friends 62t with just a pipe is night and day. My B pipe should be here Wednesday so hopefully that will wake it up a bit but I just didn't know if it was worth putting more money into a 61x if its not comparable to a 62t.

I did the case/carb change leaving all else the same. The 62T case with dual 44s made the pipe hit a little harder compared to the 61X case, top speed was the same. The cylinder was a ported 701. Port work, a good pipe, and a low pitched prop made most of the thrust increase.

Both cases were stock, I wanted to get an accurate comparison. I used a complete 760 case/carb rejetted for my 81mm cylinder. It runs great but was not the best bang for the buck. Maybe for a larger top end.
