Other 61x... opinion?

I was just looking at the jet maniac page. It's definitely something I would think about. For 300 it has stator, flywheel, bendix, I believe exhaust as well but I plan on getting a b pipe. He said he has an intake, I'm checking to see if it's for a mikuni 44. I'm new to yamis, what is the stock exhaust setup?

See if it still has the e-box and have them throw that stuff in with package since your basically rebuilding the whole top end.

bought the engine this morning for 300 ... full exhaust, intake mani, stator/bendix/flywheel. hopefully all i need is new pistons and a hone. Ill hone it later then take a look for any scratches still showing and then measure out the bore. the crank looks/feels good though.

I regret not getting my 61x cylinders ported when I had them bored...
I went the same route, with b-pipe, head etc. Wish I spent the money when it was apart haha

good to know. if i can get away with just a hone and new pistons (all things i can do on my own) then i may just touch up the exhaust ports. If i need to send it out then most likely ill send it jetmaniac and get it back bored, ported, panted, and with pistons. the stock head is still in good shape and it came with the exhaust. So depending on how money is ill get an ada girdled head and b pipe. Will probably go with the b-pipe first. I don't even have a hull for the engine yet. so i got time...

I have a 61x/61x setup in my squarenose with lots of freestyle porting, dual 44 carbs, Ada head 33cc domes, 185psi and it hits hard make sure u run dual carbs tho manis for it are hard to come by but when you do snatch it up and buy a set of 44mm carbs of a 760 couch and retro fit them.
