61x head?

Kinda new at this i got a 94' sj for free and i'm puttin a new head on it. Ive got a factory b pipe. I was looking at the girdled ada head. Any -/+ about it, or any other heads.

Are you ported yet? If not I would save the $300 bucks and just mill your stock head.

FYI I like ada heads and I have two of them.

but if you are going to run a girdled head eventually you might as well skip the 20-40 bucks on getting your stocker milled plus a new gasket and put that towards the ada.

girdled is safer if you are non-stock as far as compression and pipe.

neccessary? well, not always, many people get by without them, BUT some folks find out too late ( after the cylinder has cracked)

do a search here on 'girdle' we talk about this about 6 times a year haha.
