61x Boyesen dual stage Carbon fiber reeds

I have read that these reeds wear out after 15 or 20 hours of riding.

Does the performance just go back to similar to stock reeds or does it get worse than stock.

Also, if a reed does break and go through your engine, I assume that a piece of carbon fiber would do less damage than a piece of metal... is that right?

Kennays lasted less than that and became chewed up. Mine only got about 20 hours before I had some good pedal spread. I went back to stock 760 reeds.

the reason reeds get chewed up is because clear out there skis way to much . you end up with unburnt fuel puddling on the reeds and burning little by little due to the temperatures in your engine reching high temps after shutting down and letting sit when done . you dont need to rev your ski to moon after you ride to clear out the water . this has been especially a big problemn on gp1200r and like models .
i have carbon reeds last unbelievable hours

Ballpark, what is unbelievable hrs.
I have a new set of fullspecs with intake and boysen reeds to put on my ski and would like to switch my other skis that have v-force delta 2 reeds with r&d manifolds to brazina intakes just for the ease of removing carbs easily when needed

I would run the the carbon tech High tension.
I was just going to stick with stock reeds, but then I found some boyesen dual stage carbon fiber reeds for a really great price, so I was just wondering if I can simply replace the stock reeds with the boyesens or if I have to buy a new cage . . ?
