61x ----> 62t worth it?

Not After Fame & Fortune
I blew another crank at the end of the season so i need to do another total rebuild.

right now im running a 61x set up with a 46mm mikuni with a ported cylinder and im pretty happy. how much is there to gain with going with 62t cases and dual 38's compared to what the x cases have to offer. since i have to split cases any ways and change the crank wondering if it would be worth my time changing to the T cases.

i know the intake track is much cleaner and prob adds some bottom end over what i have now.

so is it worth it getting the cases and the whole intake system and switch over? i would have to get cases, intake, reeds, carbs, oem f/a...

any one change cases over and notice a difference? or should i just stick with my x cases.

looking for some opinions, getting things in line for next season.

thanks

The Good Old Days
The great debate continues.

I have 2 sets of X cases but after talking with Chucky (he talked I listened, and listened and listened) decided to go with T's.

Some would say that the $200+ you will spend on cases could go towards porting and give better results.

X cases are great, T cases are greaterer. More reed area, better intake track design, cases can be ported. I personally like to run dual 44 or 46 carbs with a non crossover intake. If you set it up right it will whip the pants off X cases in bottom end grunt and overall HP.
