5mil stroker jetting for a single 48 riva carb?

What you should do now is use only one of those full specs so you can pick up all the bottom end that engine can deliver. I would also recommend to do this before you change out the impeller. You don't want to change out too many things at once.

Im done with singles. I wont change the prop till after I try jetting up the low end.I kinda like the mid range and top it has for those every once in a while s turn creek runs.dont know what its doing mph up top but its WAY faster than the lpw port 701 in my other ski.

concord will be last resort.try to decrease squish and increase comp a little first to,closer to what the org head was

Got the 48 mil dual full specs on today with remote fuel pump r&d intake ported for 48s r&d angled intake spacer and v force 1 reeds,No more runnin out of fuel issue,no more bog, throttle response perfect every run. low mid and high.deff came on stronger faster than the single blackjack 46.
The only issue now is its taking a little longer to hit really hard than I like, its got a strong bottom but it really comes on HARD about a sec or 2 after I would like.mid range is sick. It felt and looked like the bottom was still lean though at 1 1/2 turns out on the bottom end jet so going to try jetting up the pilot a tad.gotta call ed and see what he recommends.... its currently at
1.8 needle and seat
135 high
125 low
22psi pop off

may be over proped for what i want, solas 15/18 with unknown pitch work.gonna try and run a 13/15 concord if the jet doesnt do it. and if that doesnt do it bite my lip and up the compression a tad.

I'm with Matt on this......Really????:ugh:

so duals got more hit than a single
Man who would have guessed that

I'm with wax on this......who would have guessed???:ugh:

What you're describing is EXACTLY what several of us have been saying for quite a while. You're experiencing EXACTLY what a good race boat feels like when several of the things it needs to run well are removed.:ugh:

That doesn't necessarily say that much. Most freestyle/freeride specific motors tend to fall on their faces pretty early. There aren't very many builders who can build a motor that hits hard AND runs out nicely.

crammit, you pick out what you wana hear.:ugh2: This motor kicks the ported 701s azz all around low end included, and totally KILLS it up top.this is really all im trying to achieve, losing the TL and race fuel was a must. There will be other things that can be changed to get it to hit a mere second earlier,as far as wave setups go. A smaller prop or a little more comp should do.

I have riddin a # of setups that pulled your arms off down low and run out ridiculous fast

I'm not going to say that Crammit is the end all of smart people, but he really is pretty darn smart and his ski's and any ski he touches always runs awesome. Every time I ride a ski that crammit has had something to do with I come away with a stupid grin on my face and my eyelids peeled waaay back. He is a smart azz-but he can back it up unlike alot of people I know.

Damn you're an ass kisser. I guess we all should have at least one thing we are good at! :beerchug:

I saw some of those boats run at Wavedaze, they were bad azz,but they should be runnin TL and race gass, For me though when is enough actually enough for surf? Im just saying you dont have to have it all to still be better than most.
Going to test jetted up low end the next few days. amazing how much fuel this thing wants to pull down low.

I know what u mean. I have t/l, but I am draggin azz big time on the whole race gas thing. I am getting 100LL at the local airport for 2.90 per gallon right now and the airport gave me the gate code so I can buy 24/7 which helps out on the convienence factor. I am certain that it would run even better with Blackjacks, R&D Dom manifold and MS109, but it runs pretty darn good as is.

How about an 84mm Big Bore with Team Scream Modded 44's on Pump Gas.
