550 wont idle

At idle my ski will run for 10-15 seconds on idle but is barley idling and then dies. I know there is a idle screw but which one is it? Also is it bad for the engine if it gets adjusted higher?

Sounds like you need to just set it higher. It's a poor mans kill switch to keep it low so it dies after a few seconds if you get disconnected. I don't have a pic but follow the throttle cable to the barb and the idle adjustment will be the t handle screw that's not horizontal
