Hey guys, I'm sure this question has been asked and answered a hundred times or more. Does anyone know the proper cooling set up for a piston port 550 with a West Coast Pipe? I consider myself average for touring forums and message boards but I cannot find any true info or diagram for cooling this pipe. This is as it stands now.
1. Line in
2. Line in T's to both bottom fittings on mani
3. Line out of front cylinder back in to top of pipe
4. Line out of pipe at elbow over to the stinger.
Is this correct? It cools and seems to run okay but what has me thrown for a loop is, previous owner has tapped the water jacket on the head of rear cylinder and made that a straight out the hull pisser. With this set up every piece of rubber on the thing wants to melt down. I can cap that line and run the ski and it runs cool.
Any info/help is appreciated
