Freestyle 550 Trim

I have a 55o hull with a 650 motor in it and i was wondering if ther is there a trim kit that would fit on a 550? or is it even worth it to put one on? like to do barrel rolls

dont get too deep into a 550... youll never get the return

upgrade to a stuper jet or at least a 750sx/sxi

put a 140 pump from a x2 in it that has trim it will work great and will give you a lot more power for barrel rolls and freestyle

is the x2 pump a direct bolt in ..... or is there a lot of modification to do to make this work

You have to fiberglass in a pump tunnel so no it's not a direct bolt in

i did the pump transplant to my 550, you have to get a 650 donor hull, cut the bottom out, cut the 550 bottom out, and fiberglass it into ur 550 hull basically, theres alot more work invloved, and its a huge pain dealing with all the foam both cuting the cavitys out and getting some foam back in, totally worth it in the end, but i had a 750 big pin in my 550 with a bunch of engine mods, so it had to be done, the 550 pump couldnt handle it. dont bother switching to the 650 pump with your stock 550 motor, if your talking about freestyle trim, then your sh**t out of luck for a 550. but if you want trim because the ski is porpoising, then just get a scoop grate to keep it glued to the water, extended ride plate, and put shims under the ride plate bolts

my bad, sorry about that, i didnt realize you had a 650 motor, lol i thought it was a 550 motor. but what is your reason for trim? do you want freestyle trim, or racing trim? if your just trying to keep the front end down, westcoast 7 gallon gas tank puts weight on the front, extended ride plate, scoop grate, shim the ride plate.
