300/440/550 550 pump?

I've poked around a little bit but different discover much. I have a 1989 650sx and my buddy has a extra 550 pump laying around. I was wondering if there would be any advantage of having a 550 pump on my 650. Let me know what you think.

550 pumps are small, the 650 pumps are pretty good. Alot of FX-1 builds use 650 pumps. Keep what you have and put a ss impeller in it.
