Well thanks to ketsair's wife and her more simple idea that she did to have less water in her hood and same amount of air.
She Simply cut of the air snorkel glassed it over and cut another hole in the back without making a new liner.
I like the idea but i want to see if it would actually work before i cut into my own hood, so i went to my work and asked my boss if he had any beat hoods he didn't want and oh did he have a nice beater for me to use... i think it was from an auction
Basically its a piece of poop...
So i got to work ,took the Dremel to it, and buzzed out the snorkel
I didn't do the best job i even drilled some on the inside of the liner i didnt know i was it was my first time doing this in the first place. free hood= mistakes ok:biggthumpup: and hey its all just an experiment
So i siliconed the boo boo, Vaccumed up all the dust, then cleaned it up a bit before i Duct taped the big hole that would be Fiberglass but thats the whole experiment part of it.
Now its done and ready to slap it on, and test it out next time i go out, and make my ski look stolen but hey its all about the experiment.
hopefully i can get to oceanside next weekend or the weekend after that.
But thats it for now untill i can get it in the water. This is my Test version of ketsair's wife's 550 mod hood you can see her's in her thread about it here http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/219
