550's are a rough market. They are 1st timer skis that people don't want to try something that radical. The die hards like them for what they are without hull mods.

Someone will come along that wants it but I would just hold on to it. Unless $600 will change your life, at the least, it will be a nice back up ski. I guarantee it is fun and that 650 will only make it better.

Its not about the money at all Im just trying to flip one of my 3 skis. Im hoping to sell my 650sx and keep this one. I got a rn super jet hull with a bunch of mod but i need to put a motor in it. Plus i really won't ride the 650 once the super jet is done. ..

Could you post or P.M. me some pics of the underside of the hood? I've been wanting to do this forever, as my dream ski is a 550 hull, 650 engine, flat deck, fixed steer, with trim. I have the trim, the hull and the engine, but I've been dragging my feet on the fixed steer because I couldn't decide on a donor ski for the stem, but it looks like the X2 one is perfect. BTW I'm trying to flip my 550/650 next summer, with my trim set-up I get about 60% of the way there already with a stock 650 engine and 550 hull.

Will do its no big secret lol i did you use x2 steering stem. They are cheap on ebay $35 shipped
