Depending on your mods you may not notice a difference when you switch. If heavily modded and you're being restricted by the BN then yes you will notice the difference.
Along with any SBN you will need a spacer plate (goes between intake mani and cyl) and longer intake bolts

My friend has a 550 with a good amout of work done to it and he is about to bolt a 44 blackjack sbn to it. I am thinking it should help out with the bottom end and just all around making the ski run better.

Yeah it will just dont let an old PJS race technician port your cylinder to do 55mph you wont have any bottom end it but a ska-reeeeeemin top end.
