4th of July on Lanier

Anyone gonna be on Lake Lanier (GA) on the 4th/that weekend?
I know me and some friends are going out

yea i'm actually in florida now, but i'm definitely gettin my ski on lanier for the fourth

Does Jetski Cove have any water in it?

idk i havent been down that far south in a while (long ride by water from my house)
i was at Bald Ridge Marina a couple weekends ago and i know the ramps there were closed

lanier is so big though and theres still plenty of water left
im sure there is some h2o around the area

yeah we generally ride around 2 mile creek but we launch out of charelston park

Does Jetski Cove have any water in it?

There is water in Jetski Cove. The ramp is closed so you have to beach cart your skis to launch. I have been several times this year and there is still a good bit of cruisers out, and not so many small boats since a lot of the ramps are closed. I will be at Jetski Cove sometime on the 4th weekend. Hope to see some of you out there.
