44 vs 46

contemplating a new carb purchase for my 701 SJ that is mainly used in surf/freestyle...question is whether or not i should splurge the 80 extra bucks into a 46 or just go with the cheaper and almost identical 44? single carb application btw. any advice would be a greatly appreciated.

talk to chuck from team scream. look up their number from the tech faq. its not just about the size of the carb but what kind and for what application
