Super Jet 44 jetting.

hi guys.

have searched but can find anything thats a direct match.
looking for some jetting specs for some 44s.
they are the 650 4 hole low speed circuit version.
currently have:

110P 1 turn
115M 1 3/4 turn
2.0 n/s
shiny silver spring looks like its been cut down.

engine specs:

epoxied ported cases
jetmaniac trued & welded crank
cylinder port matched to sleeves including lower cylinder porting
82mm bore wisecos
VF3 reeds
ada head 175 psi
lightened flywheel
b pipe (mod)
stock ignition

seems to run way too rich low down

mates advised to ditch the 44s but i tried some 38s today, although they seemed more responsive, the 44s definately pulled harder everywhere.

im pretty keen to get the 44s snappy!

im guessing the 2.0 n/s and cut down silver spring are my problem???
110 pilot already seems small (lean) for this setup? dont really want to go smaller yet.

all help welcomed and much appreciated!!!!!

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
I would start by checking the pop off preasure. I would tend to agree with you on increasing it but really need to know where you are first. Prolly need to be about 21psi to start.

without knowing everything, here's what I am running in my dual OEM 44 SBM Mikunis

Main Jet 120
Pilot Jet 122.5
High speed screw 1 turn out
Low speed screw 1 turn out
Needle/Seat 2.0
Spring (grams) 95
Pop off 30

83mm bore stock stroke
ported
FP - mod chamber - headpipe and exhaust manifold are bored to 49mm
MSD enhancer
ADA head - 33cc domes
lightened stock flywheel
R&D intake mani
Riva reed spacer
carbon reeds

she's pretty snappy - and i found that running a lower pop-off made it load up bad after hard impacts (nose stabs, rolls etc). so i increased my pop-off to where it is now.

hope it helps...

ok so went out and got a super accurate automotive pressure tester that goes to 60psi in 1psi increments that you pump by hand its awesome.

i had 8psi pop off with inox as a lubricant.

i replaced the n/s with 1.5s and got 15psi.

so i stretched the springs slightly (is this ok) and now im getting an even 32psi with the 1.5s.

this should be close right?

i may have to go richer on the pilots? maybe from 110 to 120?
