4 Wheelers

Do 4 wheelers have titles?? Im in Tx and thinking about getting one and some of these ads are saying "has title" but I cant find anything online where one would register one here in Tx.

You don't register 4 wheelers normally, unles you want to ride on some goverment lands I heard

In Texas you get a offroad title you dont reg it
Call in the vin if they dont have one
On a bike no biggy 4 wheeler difffrent story They get stolen for the Dear Lease So If you get pulled over you will need to Prove its yours. Copy of title is my truck on my sons for this reason. I Was told to do this by a trooper that ran some Vins on bikes and 4 wheeler while giving me a warning about TRL lights

Ya gotta get a state park permit from the tax office so you can ride on state forest, ect.

Yea they do get a state title, and pretty much on spot what Skinny said.

I had a county run the vin on my quad when he caught me riding it on the road. It came back in my name but he was still a dik about it. It was a county dirt private road too.

I found this for registration if you plan to ride on gov. parks and stuff but nothing about just getting it titled.

You should meet us at the Sam Hou Nat forest one weekend. I think there are about 50 miles of trails there.

They do in Michigan... since 1990 or 1991. It's just a way for the government to steal more of our hard earned money.

Ya I agree it sucks........I have been reading up on this for Tx. and lucky for us they have stopped making people register the atv or golf carts BUT you still need to have it titled in your name. From there, they sure as hell dont tell you where to do that at, they sure dont make it easy to find out.
