It looks kinda cool but the more and more I see it it really looks like a gimmick. The full 360 video where the world looks like a ball looks confusing and worthless and the actual video looks super fish eyed and quality looks bad. I mean, it's cool you can spin the video but that's about it.

I wouldnt buy one due to budget constraints, but i could see it being cool in the right hands. You could make cool matrix type videos without needing 20 cameras. They use a similar effect during the bike stunts on the x games. Granted, thats a concaved view and this is convexed, but the right person could do a lot with it i think.

Looks like a google maps car camera for consumers. If they end up for sale at the local Best Buy, I have a hook up and may try one out if the price is right.
