300/440/550 32mm Kawi 650 Carb

Guy I know has a Kawi 650 carb that mesures 34mm at entrance and 32 at the butterfly. Does anyone know what those are? I thought 650's only came with 28 or 38mm.

What does the very bottom measure? and is it Keihin?

Yep, Keihin and 34 mm at the bottom.

think the last few years they had upgraded to a 34-38 tapered carb.
early years were 28's with external fuel pump

The 38 from my 93 and my 40 from my 95 X2's measured 38 and 40 at the bottom. I was going to sell my 40 once and realized it was indeed a 40 not a 38 so i decided to keep it. That ski ran better than a friend's 650 with a 44 SBN. Then again mine was stock = stock jetting and his jetting was FAT!

So your 38mm carb had 38mm at the bottom....??? Then what is that carb with 34mm>>>>>? Could it be one of the first 38's or a late model 28mm?
