Custom/Hybrid 300sx Yamaha 144 build

Location

I had another 300 I was going to finish that was started by another member on here, it had the 650 pump conversion already done, But Darkwater generously donated this hull and SJ bottom deck (look him up, he always has great prices and fast shipping) So I figured I would go Yamaha motor and pump, Picked up the hull last weekend, not alot of time to work on it, but got both trimed and the bottom deck in, the pump is about 1.5 inch further back than the stock location

Not Much Done this week, Put the Superjet Firewall in and figured I would lay up A quick rideplate mold, and make a carbon plate for this ski and my SJ and maybe Joe's bob

Looks like this is going good so far. I was searching 300sx conversions and I still haven't seen any that were successfully completed conversion into "big boy" skis. Going straight Yami on the drivetrain stuff seems like a big plus for sure.

I hadn't seen your thread when I made the post above, but I checked it out and observe the following:
1) First and foremost, what you have done looks amazing
2) Your ambition and skill to get where you are on that project exceeds anything I could begin to dream of doing
3) The thread was started 18 months ago and still aint done )
3) It now looks more like a brand new modified/splashed hull than a conversion
Much respect, I am looking forward to seeing it completed; looks like it will absolutely be a big boy ski!!

Been real busy, but I had a little time this weekend, So I ran cooling lines, trim tube, driveshaft and steering cable tube, And started on the tubbies(yea, there huge I know) and yes I cut the rail off, It will be replaced with one somewhat like the freaks or the matrix 45 degree one
