Wow...if you guys are taking on that much water in that little amount of time, I'd think the hood seal and not the flame arrestor was to blame. Did you guys ever block off the front air passage?

FYI, I did have that problem on my 750 for a little while, a really thick hood seal cleaned it up.

maybe i need a hood seal. I just know if i do a few stabs in a row then i am doing the "bog"
 
well my oem hood seal is only a summer old....and i take my hood off and set it on the tray after every ride..

and yeah, my front intake is blocked off completely with both intakes opened in the back and a hose going to the front dumping on the pipe side. it might also be the 2 in. breather tube in my pole...

some painting (white nose and black gas cap cover since i lost my green one) and new stickers...
