280 lbs. 750sx-f build

:Banane36::Banane36::Banane36:
My dad helped me tune the carb and what do you know...its fast now!!!:scratchchin: I also noticed a bit of a diff. tuning the pipe...in a good way

Ive been out to the lake quite a few times now with more and more boats coming each time so im gonna set up the helmet cam prolly this weekend and get some footy.

Final thoughts...
Anyone building a 750 for freestyle deffinitley get rid of any kawi pole and put at least a stock sj pole on. The geometry is wayyyyyyyy better (i tried out my dads ski with my old ac pole and hated it!) It also saves a TON of weight.

I love the trim, makes a big boats wake 10 times funner...i found myself reaching for the lever on my dads ski. the D cut ride plate helps alot too.

The cut rear corners make the back end more loose, in a good way

i just had a slipknot that i put under the actual hood latch. it worked fine like that all last summer. I just dont know where i would put the eye bolt at the top of the pole...any ideas?

I noticed i never put up a pic of the finished engine comp. i've had it upside down and full of water a few times already and its lookin pretty ugly:crazy: maybe ill go clean it up a bit and look at how im can hook up the limit strap

Drill a hole under the pad and put some washers on either side. Trust me, it's easier and cheaper to figure it out now than it is to replace broken parts.

15 minutes of work:biggthumpup: I will drill the hole for the stainless eye bolt tomorrow

i ran mine with two eyelets....

putting it under the hood latch just seems so dumb to me.

if you pull that rope real hard all it does is pull your hood upwards and stress the latch.

i run an eyelet on the pole and an eyelet on the dash of the tray. since i got a ppffh i had to tie two knots in the rope to make it shorter since i had to move the limit rope higher up on the dash.

the old pics are with a stock pole.... the new pics are with the alum pole.

oh and don't mind the crooked black piece of turf i glued on there.... i must have been drunk when i put it on......need to fix that

My hood liner is cracked in that spot as well. Looks like you ran over something and then the grate slipped off in a jump. Count yourself lucky it didn't rip half your hull apart.

How'd you actually weigh the ski?
