That green actually looks a whole lot better with the pink gone... I still prefer deep colors as opposed to light or neon but to each their own.

I agree it does look better without the pink. However i love BRIGHT colors. so like jfw said to each their own. So paint away or keep it but paint the pole if you keep the green

I bet you fully understand why I have a huge hole cut in the back of my ski now... The kawi's don't get you a lot of throw before they slam into the hull.

ya haha. i'm probly gonna cut the back tomorrow after school. what tool did you use to cut it? i'm thinkin jigsaw, or die grinder with a cut off wheel. i just dont think its the best idea to start up the air compressor when its so cold, there sayin its gonna be around -15* F. here. CRAZY. my hands are still thawing out. lol

Jigsaw is going to be your best bet anyway. Maybe my die grinder just sucks but I can't make it cut through fiberglass for anything. I can run a DA sander non stop until the tank is too hot to touch but as soon as the die grinder hits fiberglass, it's like it hits glue and just stops.

whoah!!! found this on the 4th page back. lol it was 50 on saturday and about 40 today. i went snowboarding on saturday and primed the pole that afternoon. pretty much a waste of a day, i could of had this thing done. :banghead: today sucked cuz i had to go to my cousins first communion thing. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: i got home at 3:30-ish and sterted to do some stuff...spot puddied the pole and sanded it, ready for paint on tuesday, cut rear bondline, and the pump is in for good now. there was a nice surprise when i flipped it over, a farked up bottom. it was perfect last spring. lol

and im gettin a factory pipe, and jetnetics total loss:biggthumpup:

Perfect bottom last spring? That thing still looks pretty good! Does that ski ever touch ground or do you lift it from the water and set it perfectly on the trailer?

I painted the bottom of mine 3-4 times last summer and here is what mine looks like...
