How can this be mounted..?

I’m guessing a seasoned vet could source some small angle aluminum pieces and screw/epoxy them on and I’d bet it’d work cherry

You can use 5200 and glue in some well nuts. (Look them up, I believe I ordered mine through graingers) I repaired my chin pad a few years ago this way and it’s held up great.
