no, they scrapped that design, when water got in there it messed everything up........
it is now like a wind up toy........... when you do a barrell roll or a back flip, it rewinds the gyromotor....... so, one roll every 5 minutes will keep you ticking.

The hood will be air tight. It'll have a compressor in it and the only intake will be the compressor. It'll fill itself up with air when it's out of the water, then pump air into the hull. This way, it'll be 100% water tight for subs, and still have plenty of air for the engine.

X2. I want a round nose. I probably still couldn't afford one. I bet then... my 650SX would be worth even less... then I would buy the new 1 and not be able to get anything for my old ski. All well, guess I'll have to keep it as a spare. =D

I heard that too.
I also heard a rumor that they have been buying up the skis they have made over the last 10 years, putting new graphics on them and selling them as new skis. This way, they don't have to redesign the ski, and they can eleminate the problem of a flooded market. It's really win win.
I also heard the newly graphicized square nose will be introduced.
