I run a stock plate shortened and just picked up a worx 228 from jetmaniac. its made for the later super jets.

I thought with the fact that the 08+ pump is moved back the 228 is a better choice. I know both will work but the 201 is setup for earlier pump placement.

I have heard that the 228 is a great scope I ordered one for my 2011 Super Jet :bananajump: But can I ask what does cutting the stock ride plate do for you??? I am very new to the sport and my way of thinking was Longer plate smoother ride???? Like I said I am green as green gets

Shortening the ride plate brings the nose up, helps with freestyle. You can also D cut it.
I have an 09 Superjet and i went with the Worx 228 intake grate. Big improvement over stock. Fits perfect and gives good hookup.

Thats me i am kind of a small guy at 6'2" and 215 pounds LOL think I will keep the plate stock for a while
