Super Jet 2008 sj .....VERSION 2.0... New design adjustable footholds done !

Soooo after a quik weekend trip to pismo the first version of my adjustable holds worked great but did not feel very good at all on the foot. Even with booties and wrestling shoes. I even went as far as to put a layer of turf inbetween.... I was just denying the inevitable, more padding was needed ASAP! So when i got home i bent up a new set to allow lots of underpadding. Much better design and they feel nice on the ol feet!

AWESOME BUILD BRO. Looks like alot of thought, time and work invested. Should pay off imensley. I assume the outer wall of the tray sides are HEAVILY reinforced / thick to withstand side landings and the force of the holds?
You have incorporated alot of things I have only thought about doing on this thing, insane amount of work involved.
I am super impressed.

heavy? Not a chance! The whole setup is very light, even the side plates are not to bad at all and they r lazered 1/8" stainless.

Thanks for the kind words guys, waaay too much time and effort has gone into this baby and i am beyond relieved it has turned out the way it has! I promised my girl and family/friends i am done working on this thing.........for at least the next month!!!! MUAHAAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAA!!!!

Looks awesome, as with everything you touch seems to.

My only question/ concern is if the bolts will slide with the forces applied. I guess since it will be more torsional and not a direct pull up it will be fine. I guess I would want some sort of groove in the plate that would match grooves in the washer, to really lock it in place.

I have no doubt that if they slide you can make this happen so its probably not even worth discussing. Beautiful ski Bro... very innovative.

I was a little worried about the same thing but.....Plates have a bead blasted finish and the large cap bolts have a pretty large bite area. Rock solid.
