This takes about 15 min to complete and completely changes the way the ski handles.
You will need:
Drill
center punch
M6*1.25 tap & drill bit
Hack saw or some kind of rotary tool with an abrasive wheel
Allen Wrench (I forget what size)
Lock tite
12mm socket
12mm wrench
10 mill wrench
sand paper
Round file
1. Remove the rideplate
2. Remove the steering cable end from the nozzle
3. Remove the nozzle
4. Cut the gusset on the bottom of the nozzle steering arm off.
5. Place one of the washers on the bottom of the nozzle steering arm. Align it so that the edge of the hole made is about 1/4" from the edge of the arm. Center punch the hole in the washer.
6. Drill & tap the whole.
7. Thread a bolt into the hole and check for clearence with the nut on top. You may have to grind/cut some of the nozzle to get it to fit.
8. Put The nozzle & steering. Only with a washer on the bottom and just a nut on top.
9. Check for clearance between the cable & the pump You may have grind a little off the square thing on the pump but not much at. I have yet to see one that needs any grinding.
10. Put the ride plate back on
11. Align the steering at the handle pole
12. Go ride.
