2005 Kawi SXR 800 No Spark

I started working on my ski again trying to get the ignition to fire. I'm still at the problem of no juice going through the coil. The power wire from the igniter is reading 12 volts. When i check the coil wire with my multi meter on a DC setting i get nothing for a reading. So im still at where i was before i left for work, no spark going to the coil wires. I am gonna run one more test to see if its the crankshaft position sensor. And if i dont get the proper reading i have one more test i can run with the guys from Advent to make sure its not a faulty CDI ignitor. Anyone else have any ideas as to why my coil is not firing? Maybe something with the stator? Maybe the start/stop harness? I'm a little confused! Any help is appreciated!

I had the same Problem thought it was the CDI. Come to find out it was just the start stop switch. My buddy had the same problem, So i would check that out. Hopefully its something like that and not to complicated.

I have been thinking that for a while as well man. I think im just gonna order the new start/stop harness. Hopefully after i run these two more tests on the CDI and the crankshaft position sensor it will be a faulty start/stop switch. That being the nice simple case. However with these SXR's thats rarely the case! hahahahaha!
