I like good deals.
I got a 2002 superjet with a 1991 SN and trailer for $3200 off Craigslist. I sold the SN for $900 and will sell the trailer for $300. Net cost for RN $2000. It is very clean. The only mod it had was Hydro-turf.
I had a good condition Skat 9/17 impeller I got with my old SN. It's a great prop.
I got a Worx intake grate from watercraftwerks. These were both easy installs.
Tow loops and handlepole limiting strap were made from a retired rock climbing cord, 5.5mm 5500 pound strength.
Hydro-Turf pole pad from ebay.
I got the free plugs for the air intakes on the front of the hood from capplugs. I also got some grommets to let air in from the back. I didn't want to cut the existing oval holes since they make a nice hand hold when removing the hood.
I got a UMI steering off the X.
I got the 0 degree bars from watercraftwerks.
ODI Yeti grips from jensonusa.
Bilge pump fitting from the X.
I used a standard bungee cord for the limiting strap.
Hood strap from stuff I had laying around. What is that thing it's looped around on the handlepole bracket for?
Bungee cord end fits nicely on steering bolt.
Rockclimbing keyhole bolt hanger I had laying around.
The keylock snap links are a funny story. I bought 2 keychain caribiners for $1 each, they only have 150 pound strength. There is a coffee shop that had these great stainless steel keylock (no sharp edges) snap links on their velvet ropes that show where to stand in line. One of the links at the coffee shop had already been swapped out with a keychain biner, so I swapped out 2 more while I waited in line for my cafe mocha. After I got them I was able to look them up online. You can get them from boating supply stores for about $10. 1700 pound strength. More usable for a tow rope than screw links. http://www.keenzo.com/showproduct.asp?ID=2879536
Hydro-turf lifter wedges from watercraftwerks. I didn't want to spend the time or money to install footholds yet and these work pretty good angled like this. A great idea I got off the X.
Bilge pump switch from ebay. Had to cut away some plastic dash by the choke. However this switch provides some power in the off position when it's wet with salt water. Maybe it's defective.
I got the trailer and a Waverunner III (my 7 year old son drives me around on it) for $800 off craigslist.
Lacross helmet new off ebay, great deal about 1/3 the retail cost.
Beach dolly another good ebay deal. Prices include shipping.
I love my car too. I usually buy used vehicles with low miles, but it was an end of the year blow out. I drove trucks for years, it sure is nice to have a car that handles like a sports car, is fast, get's good mileage, has AWD, seats 4, and is reliable. I'm a Subaru convert now.
That's all folks. Thanks for looking.
