Just got a seadoo from a client that had it repaired by another service tech with a lot of problems, the carbs were rebuilt incorrectly, entire cooling system ran incorrectly, coil wires had not been trimmed back, re-used head pipe gasket which was blown, dry rotted coupler between the water box and chamber, etc.... so i fixed everything that was wrong with it. It fires right up but will not get up to speed when u instantly jump on the throttle, it will fall right on its face. If you gradually rev it up it will get up to RPM but will take quite a long time to drop back down to idle, when the ski returns to idle it will rev up on its own a little bit. Sometimes when getting up to RPM it will start to diesel. What else could be causing this problem. I fixed pretty much everyhting on this ski.... Any experts throw me some ideas PLEASE..i want this ski out of here im tired of looking at it!

It sounds like the accell pump is not working, here is how you check that, take off the airbox and find the spray nozzle for the pump with your finger, now put your finger under the spray nozzle and pull the throttle, does it spray out and wet your finger,if not part or parts of the accell pump system are clogged.I have seen clogged inlets to the pump as well as clogged outlets and clogged spray nozzles. The best thing to do is disassemble the system and start at the inlet end working your way through the pump and finally checking the spray nozzles again to make sure you are getting a pump shot.Berryman B12 works wonders for unsticking the spray nozzles.Be very careful with the accell pump system ,it has a series of spring loaded check balls in the system so don't go poking wire or something else in there trying to clear it,just use the B12 and if that doesn't do the trick try soaking the parts in Yamaha carb cleaner overnight then hitting it with the B12.
