2 or 3# foam

Who has used 2 or 3 lb foam in the rear of your ski and how has it held up? Thanks.

I just stuck in some 3lb foam a few weeks ago.
It's way too soon to say how it holds up but it made the rear of the ski rock hard.

With all the extra glass I have on the entire tray I think 2lb would do just fine.

I saw some 2 pound foam and it looked very weak, I wouldn't trust it in an OEM hull. Go with 3 :biggthumpup:

Yeah, but what sort of "stress" does your hull have to put up with? Hauling your heavy ass through the no wake zone, that's about it.

I just finished my second refoam ski with 2# foam .
the first was done about 2 years ago , no problems
