That's Orange Lake in Newburg, NY. Water wasn't too cold.
I haven't been to Hopatcong in years. Where do you launch?
I haven't ridden Hopatcong in about 10 years and haven't fished there in like 4-5 years.
Used to launch at Lake's End Marina.

um, nope. Most of my insulation is gone. and I've said this before: despite my resemblance to small, flightless, tuxedo wearing birds, - I do not tolerate cold water very well.
I've heard the water pigs are bad there. I use to go to Greenwood lake pretty often and would get hassled once and awhile but was always told hopatong was worse.
What street is the free ramp on?
One of my friends just bought a house there so I'll probally check it out atleast once this summer. :fing02:

Mapquest says 1 lakeside blvd its pretty easy to get to off 80. - I have never went there during the summer - i have a house by Normandy beach ext 98. I think that they are even worse during the summer. The lakes really clean now- apparently it was gross a couple of years ago.

went out to green lake 3-4 weeks ago boat launch was frozen solid but there was an opening on the other side of the lake we ended up carring our skis through somones yard to ride it was cold we had fun thoe
There used to be a cop at Lake Hopatcong who would sit at the ramp an hour before sunset and write out tickets to everyone who was a minute late.
