1997 Kawasaki STX 1100 Complete

the ski has been sitting for a few years and had the following work done to it before being put into storage:

clean used oem cdk carbs installed
Choke removal and primer installed
new tygon oil lines
new fuel selector valve installed
clean used jet pump installed (fresh prop and no liner swelling)
New Carb rubber inlet pieces
New Carrier Bearing

The bad:
no title (reason for partout) My boss gave it to me after getting the runaround about no shop working on it anymore because of the age
Gauge is faded but not leaking
Motor starts but farts out sludge, I don't know enough about these tripples to diagnose nor do I want to spend the time/money to investigate.

Will post pictures when I get home tonight, located in Houston Texas

Make an offer, I just need the space back on my trailer/in my yard.

Scene:

The sun rises on a new day in mid march, the weather is getting warmer and you find yourself overcome with emotion as the smell of 2-stroke fuel is stirred in your memory. You venture to the garage and are filled with dismay as you realize that you are once again faced with a riding season without the ferocity of a kawasaki 1100 in your blaster or x-2. The primal longing for that motor has nagged in the dark recesses of your mind since that mysterious stranger approached you at the boat ramp and offered you a spin on that conversion ski.

The only way to ease this desire is to purchase the little red STX from that weird guy on X-H2O. He routinely writes strange posts that offer too much backstory with very little substance. He also makes strange references to food and occasionally offers recipes for some reason.

In spite of those characteristics, he is devilishly handsome.

I have not done anything recent on the ski except take it out of storage. I will try and pickup a battery next time I am out. Shipping will be really expensive, the motor weighs a lot. I shipped the scrap 1100 I had a month or so ago and it was 130lbs and like $150 to ship.

Shipping is not bad depending on who you use. For heavy items I use fed ex or old dominion. I’ve shipped a manual transmission to Ohio from CA for under 85 bucks. I could also send you a call tag through my works acct. Where you palletize it. Weight it and drop it off at old dominion if you have one near you.
