I would naturally assume its because the water is migrating to the bottom of the ski. I am still amazed that your foam has such properties but alas, I give you benefit of doubt.

I have the exact same problem as you except my crack is on the right side. I recently just started cutting into the hull and I decided to cut out holes for my footholds, then cut out a hole in front of them to make defoaming easier, and lastly on the bottom I connected what two squares you have and made it into one big rectangle. So far this has made defoaming easy maybe I can get some pictures up in the next day or so I plan on making a little project build myself. Good luck with the project although defoaming gets bad wrap I just look at it as a learning process since this is my first foothold and defoaming experience.

Hey guys finally got to do some more dirty work, cut a hole for defaoming, and
found plenty of water and saturated foam, for the first defoaming job it wasnt that bad,

Nice job. Be sure to seal all threaded inserts, all tubes, and most importantly, the bondline.

hey i had to stop my project for a few years went to iraq and sadly they dont let you bring cool stuff with you, but iv dove in head first and gotten alot of work done sence i have been back, and i just want to say thanks to all you guys you kept me pretty sane when i got a chance to look at the site while i was in iraq here is what i have done so far,

thanks for doin what you do.:usa:

now what is the deal with putting the foam in do i have to seal all the holes after i pour the foam in or what, im a little confused cause iv read and seen people pour it in and its overflowing out of every hole, and should i do a little at a time or pour as much as i can in at once
