lat july i bought this ski
as far as i know it is a 650 with 701 casings, knN airfilter, factory pipe exaust, and aftermarket ride plate. i rode it all the way into october. i then installed a ocd single bildge system. had to fix cracked hood so this has led to new paint, foot holds and turf. looking for as much advice as possible towards foot holds and paint thanks a lot ben

looking for advice for paint. can i just use normal auto body paint and primer with a few coats of sealer?

i used normal spray paint and it turned out good, so if u were to use auto paint and clear it, prolly turn out good, just need to prep, take ur time, and wet sand in between coats.

hopefully buying paint primer and sealer this weekend just want to be sure auto body paint and primer will contact well with gel coat? any advice as to which grit i should prep ski with? preped a bit with 400 tonight not sure if i should go with finner grit?

also any advice on best places to get turf, footholds etc from would be great

just finished primer. will start on paint monday. i will post pics once i have completed paint also have new start stop switch footholds and turf en route

Just curious, have you modded the stock hood yet? To reduce the amount of water that enters the hull?

just finishing up ski today. its been a long build but turned out alright. hoping to go riding this afternoon. went to fire up all i get is a click out of realay. need help asap. yesterday it was turning over fine. not sure what is up

i had the same problem with my relay, i bought a new one off ebay for 25, and put that in and it fired right up, i would check all grounds first

ive narrowed it down to starter. not sure if i should get new factory one or a blowsion aftermarket one

so here it is. not perfect but good enough for the folks i roll with.still have some yamaha decals etc. to put on. hopefully change starter for weekend.

thanks took it out last saturday. no issues still running strong. ready for summer to get here

well its winter again. ski ended season running ruff. bogged down when throttle applied. ordered new impeller intake grate and fuel lines and filters. hopefully new lines filters and clean out tank will get it running strong.not entirely sure whats wrong any advice? hopefully get some time to work on ski this weekend also working on building new aluminum handle pole.
