Leverage is not at that things advantage. I'd say that's alot more prone to twisting than a stock RN bracket with the RN pole. I wouldn't trust it personally (Sorry Matt :D )

dont worry i had the same concerns, but this has been tested by others and worked fine. i didnt want to do this and at best this is just temporary for me anyways i would like to wrap a rn around this pole by next year. at least ill prob put a lowered rn brkt on and level out mount area, but this will get me in the water !!!!! and kennay im getting very close.......i should have a very important pkg in a few days :fingersx:

Get with RD and have him order you the Deka ETX 15L. It is only 11lbs which is 6 or 7 lbs lighter than a stock type. It is a good AGM battery with plenty of CCA. I ran one all last season with no problems.

sweet, btw dont waste money on a light battery. waste of money IMO

Why would you not want to reduce the weight of your ski by 6 pounds or more? This is an easy way to lose weight and the lighter batteries are cheaper than the heavy 17 pound 16CLB stock type batteries.

roundnose pole

I got the RN pole today!Yankee boy im boucing between your nigga-rig style on the rn pole or the washers?Could you give me the sizes on your bolts?

o yea sorry i didnt see your post, i believe they're 9/16 inch, or 14mm. We got them from lowes. I also had to make 2 pvc spacers to take place of 10 washers, ( 5 washers = 1 spacer on a side )and i also needed 5 washers on the inside to make up for lack of threads.
