For sale is our 1990 Kawasaki JS440. We have had this ski for a few years and have outgrown it. I would say it is in excellent condition for this type of ski. I recently rebuilt the engine and the ski is running top notch! I will list a few of the mods below:
Freshly rebuilt engine, stock bore with a fresh hone from LPW
OEM Kawasaki piston rings, vapor honed stock pistons. Visually studied for any cracks or fatigue, measured to verify proper clearance.
New crank seals and full gasket set
Engine was pressure tested and yielded no noticeable drop at 8 psi for 5 minutes. Tested using GroupK pressure test kit.
Rebuilt electrical box, using di-electric grease on all connections
ADA billet electrical box fittings, not the cheap plastic stockers
Nice Deka AGM battery, fully charged and in great condition
Billet bow eyes and water bypass
Silicone cooling lines
Rebuilt carb using genuine Mikuni rebuild
Ski also has a Mariner ride plate, Kerker pipe and an unknown pitch aftermarket impeller. Even has original turf! Very clean, rides great. Come see for yourself
