When changing out a 144 to a 155 Skat Mag do you change the reduction nozzle as well? And the pump shoe? Thanks - sorry if these are dumb questions!

I don't know about the thrust trim ring but the xmetal trim ring works but I requires some grinding. I had to grind down the sides of the reduction nozzle were u bolt up the ring and also cut about 1/4 inche of the end of the reduction nozzle.

cut a 1/4 inch off the end of the reduction nozzle 
grind down the tabs on the side where you bolt up the trim ring. Try to do this as evenly as possible.
.grind down any casting marks that might interfere with the trim action
Now this was for the xmetal 144mm trim system on a 155mm nozzle. I hope that helps a little.

Yes I have two nozzles the 65u is off the gp1200 it has a 3° tilt to the nozzle I ended up switching to the 64v nozzle I think off a raider 1100 with no tilt to keep my nose down

Was it tail standing and difficult to pull away on 3' nozzle? What hull you running?

Agh not to very difficult to plane out but definitely a lot easier with the strait nozzle I'm running a Wdk r.e.v.
