Talked to jeff last night and he told me everything we need to route water and fuel. We have to stop by home depot and get some things tonight. we have to break the motor in slowly for the first 5gals of race fuel. Initally we should do several heat up and cool down cycles on the motor

sorry to be off topic, just wondering where you all ride in louisville? I'm in cincy, I wouldn't mind makin a trip next summer to actually get to ride with some guys.

Did not get to fire the motor tonight. Missing a couple of things, have to finsih wiring the ignition and do some plumbing. But we made good progress. Thats Squid getting excited about the 1200..........and he is pretty wired after a long day.

Had to fabricate some cooling fittings. One is a water injection site that mounts to the manifold, the other is a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 waterline T. Couple of trips to Home Depot and Lowes ate up some time.

Also fabricated a dual fuel pump mounting plate. Worked out pretty well and look nice in the engine bay. Thats all for today......not sure if we will get the chance to work on it tomorrow or not.

Looking from the tray up is a beautiful sight!!! Billit motor, Full spec carbs, billit bracket, billit pole. :Banane35: :cheer2: we may not have the correct pump to get it all to the water but I am excited. This ski is going to be a serious serious machine

Replaced the faulty relay and now we are back in business. Hope to have it on the water this weekend
