12-17, or 13/17 for that setup, for freestyle...... 15/19 would be more for racing.

You may want to consider the TBM pump cone kit, and the 12/17 c-75 big hub scat..... it makes the pump more like a 144 mag..... I am very pleased with this setup.

I've got the 12/17 Swirl in my SJ with similar setup as what you have (w/mild port). Since I'm mainly interested in bottom/mid range, it works great. Hooks up real well in the chop too.

As already noted, the 15/19 swirl is more of a top end or racing prop (you will also need much more motor). The question you need to ask yourself is 12/17 or 13/17 swirl.

Here is the theory behind your question. The 12/17 pitched impeller has a variable pitch trailing edge. Basically for every revoultion of the impeller your boat should move forward 17 inches. The other one with the higher pitch will move your boat forward a greater distance, but it will take more horsepower to keep the rpm the same to give you more speed.
Hope that made sense.
I have a very similar set up and use the 12/17 freeride swirl. I love it.

With these mods I would say a 12/17.
If you had a Blowsion mat kit and chinpad with XFT bars and throtle, and only one bilge, then I would run the 15/19. In addition, if you run Renthal grips you should get a Swirl prop.

It's just some jibberish, (Swedish). I just asked about that ski, I recognised the specs from an ad last year.
And I never knew that the choice of grips had such a large input on what pitch to use, geez!

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
Or TBM with 12/17 c-75

His is a limmitted set up, do you really think he needs TBM, I have same set up w/ lightened flywheel, 33cc domes, porting & twin 44 carbs in my sons boat. I dont think I need a TBM, I am running a 13/16 CB concord and not spinning it. I thought about trying the TBM, but am worried it may be too much for this set up.
The 15/19 is too tall though, is your 12/17 a swirl? If so run it. If not think about having the 15/19 repitched to 14/18 or purchasing a swirl. IMO

I was just thinking more hookup down the road if he decides doing a bigbore or something...... I am running this setup with stock cylinder 150lbs compression, dual 44's, limited b-pipe.... I think the TBM works far better then just having a 13/17 concorde, or a 10/18 scat wich I have both ran.... I am running the stuby cone, and a 85mm bored nozzle... Its cheeper to do it right the first time..... if he decides on a regular prop now, then wants the TBM he will want to get a big hub prop to get all he wants out of his pump setup.
