how good is your compression tester? i have a cheap one that i doubt would be that accurate and would expect to see a difference.

if you dont seal the tester the same you can see a difference

id advise doing the test a few times, changing between cylinders to get a better idea before you start an expensive rebuild

obvioulsy to be 100% sure and safe you could a rebuild, but it may not be necessary

I tested it cold but if it was warm wouldnt they still have the same difference in pressure and it is a rather cheap tester it was only 50$ What do u mean seal it the same way?

the compression tester has an o'ring to seal on the cylinder, if you over tighten it it wont seal, it will squash out

if you perform the same test under the same conditions, but keep swapping from cylinder to cylinder so you can get an average

if you alway get a 10psi difference front to back then maybe you do have a problem

I have always heard +/- 10% and you are well within that range
Run multiple tests and average them runs
and the difference will most likely go away
