09 handpole the same as a RN

I was wondering if the handpole on a 2009 is the same as a older RN handpole? Just want to check and see it the spring and pad will fit.

It's a couple inches shorter. I think it's an fx-1 pole

The 08-09 pole is the same as the FX1 pole. This means the only difference is the top bracket. It is shorter but does not have the adjustable steering stop. Everything will work on it, spring, chin pad, steering, etc

yes, physically it will work but why? The top cap of a 08 pole is inferior to the 96-07 as far a steering range (throw)
