08 superjet heads install help!

ok im new to this site but hope someone can help! i have an o8 superjet and bought a ada girdled head kit with 35cc domes was hoping for some install tips and how to install the hoses to cool the head! any help would be appreciated!

the 2008 sj already makes about the same compression your going for due to a different head gasket. You might want to consider some smaller domes to bump up the compression. Are you installing a pipe or or anything else?

Is this right, there's higher comp on stock 08 than prior years? Not debating, just didn't know that.

I think they are about 170 on 08 and newer with the ada should be about 180 with 35 domes

i only have a stock pipe and the pics do help thank you! but close lines the one pic shows close top and bottom and leave one 3/8 open im assuming this is for a aftermarket pipe

closing the top and middle and 3/8 open on the bottom is for tuning a b-pipe

grease your o-rings well before you put them inside the head its not that difficult make sure to torque everything correct and in the correct pattern..follow the same pattern shown on your stock head and i think the torque specs are 11ftlbs-16ftlbs-23ftlbs

its been so long i dont remember what a stock pipe looks like


why dont you just route it the way it came from the factory? make sure to plug that really small fitting on the side of the srock chamber

Are you talking about the really small hose on the stock head if so what is it the manuel didn't say what it is and how is there no output I see the input line?

yes, that's for a b-pipe

you'll run the water lines just like you have on your stock head. you'll have to buy multiple fittings to get the waterlines to work with stock exhaust.

if you need a pic I can take one of my ski with a different aftermarket head and stock exhaust.

i was just going to use the stock lines but idk what the other 1/8 inch line is for thats on the head

Just hook it into the other tapped hole on the head with this part from Mcmaster.com 5454K65
