Super Jet 08 and up rn nozzle angel

i am looking for any reasoning behind y my 09 rn nozzle is pointed slightly up....all the other rn and sn nozzles r 90* witht the ride plate mine is probably 85 degrees pointing up ...has anyone looked into this as to y yamaha did this ?

I think i noticed my 2010 sj has a slight tilt to it too. Maybe something to do with the new hull design. They put the trim ring from a raider on there for some reason. I'd like to know as well.

post a pic of it. did you buy the rn new.is that how it came from the factory?

can't you adjust that bracket that holds the trim ring?

Here's how my nozzle is. Straight from the factory.

I guess you could just elongate the hole on this bracket to adjust the angle.

yes sraight from the dealer is how they come you can drill a new hole or slot it and moved it i moved mine but it back to stock ....im not the best rider but im decent i was just wondering y they would do this from the factory .....wat handeling caricteristics it would change and what not

Go ahead and try different nozzle angles. I put mine close to all the way down for buoys and for play I move it back towards stock.

my bro has the 09 with the new hull style and mines the 07 with the old hull style. lots of differences in the hull and some in the handle pole. i noticed the nozzle too.
